The much awaited judgment in the fundamental human rights suit filed against the
Inspector-General of Police(IGP), Ibrahim Idris and three others, by
suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans
has been adjourned till September 5.
Justice Abdul-Azeez Anka of the Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos had, earlier fixed August 29, to
deliver judgement in the N300 million damage slammed against the police
chief and others while challenging his continued detention.
But due to fresh application filed by the police, the court fixed the September 5 date.
